For all Clive Owen‘s fans out there, here comes the Shadow Dancer report!
This project comes from director James Marsh and it has just screened out of competition, at the Berlinale 2012.
Today, we're here to share the completely new photos, poster and clip from the movie which definitely deserves your attention.
Shadow Dancer is a psychological thriller in the truest sense of the term: it does not merely focus on the external elements of the plot – it also explores the moral dilemmas that face its protagonists.
And the protagonists are Andrea Riseborough who stars as Colette McVeigh and great Clive Owen who plays character named Mac.
So, on one side we have a widowed mother and active member of the IRA who gets arrested in an aborted bomb plot, and on the other hand a British intelligence officer who offers her an ultimatum. That utimatum is to lose everything including her little son and go to prison for twenty-five years or return to Belfast to spy on her own family. Tough choice, you'll agree…
Director James Marsh depicts the conflict in Northern Ireland from the point of view of a woman whose daily life is a constant struggle for survival but who is nonetheless determined to create a better future for herself and her son.
The rest of the cast includes Gillian Anderson as Kate Fletcher, Aidan Gillem as Gerry and Domhnall Gleeson.
