Bradley Cooper To Topline THE MAN FROM PRIMROSE LANE

Nick Martin January 30, 2013 1 comment
Bradley Cooper There's a lot of buzz right now around Bradley Cooper: the actor earned an Oscar nomination for his work in David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook, he's set to appear opposite Ryan Gosling in The Place Beyond the Pines later this year, and he may or may not be starring in a Lance Armstrong biopic produced by J.J. Abrams. Just a couple of weeks ago we learned that he's producing and starring in the Warner Bros spy-thriller adaptation Dark Invasion, and now comes word that the studio has acquired James Rennar‘s 2012 mystery novel The Man from Primrose Lane and will develop it as a star vehicle for Cooper. Southland writer Chad Feehan is attached to write the adaptation of the mind-bending story about a true-crime writer named David Neff who finds himself at the center of a ‘chain of serial murders' while checking out an incident involving the killing of a recluse known to people in the neighborhood as ‘the man with a thousand mittens' a.k.a. the Man from Primrose Lane. But as he digs further and further into the case he discovers a connection between himself and the crimes and ‘must look outside the parameters of what he believed to be true about time and space' in order to solve the mystery. Cooper is set to play the crime writer. Yep, almost forgot that one of the biggest A-listers in Hollywood most recently finished The Hangover Part III for Warner Bros too and will be reuniting with Russell later this year to start work on the untitled Abscam movie formerly titled American Bullshit. Great. Is there a role for Jennifer Lawrence in it?
