Well, the film is not about Dillinger at all. It is a show-off where Depp et co can look bored rather than hard and contribute to a meaningless movie.
The Dillinger-story has been turned into a mob-drama, the rural aspects forgotten, a lot of un-called for ugliness applied and romantic aspects that could have saved the film were ignored. It made me feel slighty nauseated, and that I had wasted my time seeing it. MANN-DEPP-BALE=DISASTER.
