Guy Pearce and
Felicity Jones, so I'm sure you already know that this intimate & intelligent drama definitely deserves your full attention. Director
Drake Doremus wanted to try something
really restrained and much
more mature after

Doremus directed the whole thing from a script he co-wrote with
Ben York Jones, which revolves around a foreign exchange student named Sophie, who arrives in a small upstate New York town, challenges the dynamics of her host family's relationships and alters their lives forever.
In other words, Jones stars as the above mentioned Sophie, who arrives to stay with a family, taking piano lessons from Keith, played by Pearce, and the rest of the story goes like this:
As summer turns to fall, music teacher Keith Reynolds privately reminisces about his days as a starving artist in the city. While his wife, Megan, and daughter, Lauren, look forward to Lauren's final year of high school, Keith clings to those evenings he's asked to sub as a cellist with a prestigious Manhattan symphony. When Megan decides the family should host foreign exchange student Sophie, the British high school senior soon rekindles an impetuous aspect of Keith's personality.
Beside Jones and Pearce, the rest of
Breathe In cast includes
Amy Ryan and
Mackenzie Davis, the movie is set to open in the UK on July 19th, 2013, and will (hopefully) be released in the US later this year.
