Get Ready For More Vampires: Neil Jordan’s BYZANTIUM Finally Has a Release Date!
In other words – get ready for Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan, who will lead us through this fantasy thriller which comes from Interview with the Vampire helmer Neil Jordan. We already shared some pretty cool trailers, posters and images from the whole thing, and today we’re here to inform you that Byzantium finally has a release date!
Let us first remind you that Jordan directed the movie from Moira Buffini‘s script which centers on a mother and daughter vampire duo, played by the above mentioned girls – Arterton and Ronan.
Two mysterious women seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Clara meets lonely Noel, who provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium. Schoolgirl Eleanor befriends Frank and tells him their lethal secret. They were born 200 years ago and survive on human blood. As knowledge of their secret spreads, their past catches up on them with deathly consequence.The rest of the cast sounds promising as well, and as you probably remember Sam Riley, Jonny Lee Miller, Caleb Landry Jones, Danny Mays all star in Byzantium, which is finally set to hit theaters on June 28th, 2013.
