The We and the I

This definitely looks great! We have the first trailer and poster for Michel Gondry‘s latest project titled The We and the I which will debut at the Cannes Film Festival, and I’m sure you’re going to love it!

I’m usually not so interested in movies that deal with kids and their high-school graduation or whatever, but trust me – this is something completely different!

The We and the I is described as the heartfelt and comical story of the final bus ride home for a group of young high school students and graduates. As kids depart the bus for the last time, we get to learn about these graduates as they step into the world – their love, their conflicts, their despair and their hope.

The We and the I

As you already see, the story takes place almost entirely on a school bus, so it almost looks like a documentary for a moment, but it still remains interesting enough, simply because we have some great dialogues, a lot of funny situations and… well with one word – Bronx schoolkids!

The We and the I will be screened in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival, which starts today.

Let us know what you think about this one, and stay tuned!
