Another international poster for the upcoming
Carrie remake has arrived, and as usual, you can check it out in the rest of this report. Nothing spectacular, just another look at
Chloe Moretz who plays our favourite shy
telekinetic girl Carrie White in
Kimberly Peirce‘s reimagining of the classic horror.
So, I'm sure you're more than ready to
know her name, but unfortunately
Carrie arrives in theaters on October 18th, 2013.
Kimberly Peirce directs the pic from a screenplay written by
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (reportedly more faithful to
Stephen King‘s original novel of the same name), which revolves around the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie.
In case you've missed the official synopsis:
Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris' best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.
Beside Moretz,
Carrie cast also includes
Julianne Moore,
Judy Greer,
Portia Doubleday,
Alex Russell,
Gabriella Wilde and
Ansel Elgort.
As usual – click on the poster to take a better look at Carrie, and in case you've missed the
trailer, another
motion poster and
images from the pic, now is your perfect chance to check them out.
Stay tuned for more!
