Character Poster For LES MISERABLES Featuring Hugh Jackman As Jean Valjean
Universal Pictures revealed a new character poster for Les Miserables featuring Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, courtesy of Lesmiserablesfilm.com as well as a banner via The Daily Blam.
The tagline, ‘Freedom Is Mine', is from the first song Valjean sings after being released from prison where spent nineteen years for stealing a loaf of bread and numerous attempted escapes.
As for Le Mis character posters, another one of Marius and Cosette (Eddie Redmayne and Amanda Seyfried) is posted on Tumblr with a tagline from their duet, ‘A Heart Full of Love'.
Well, we've already seen a trailer and plenty of footage, and one official teaser poster (which re-created Emile Bayard's iconic image of little Cosette) for Tom Hooper‘s spectacular cinematic interpretation of Victor Hugo's epic tale.
Alain Boublil adapted his own work with French composer Claude-Michel Schonberg, who also wrote the stage musical, with Herbert Kretzmer and William Nicholson as the lyricists for the English-language musical adaptation.
The film also stars Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen and will hit theaters worldwide on December 25th, Christmas Day.
A new trailer is rumored to be on the horizon next week.
