Hey
RoboCop fans, we're here to talk about
Joel Kinnaman again! We've just learned that he's in some serious talks to join previously announced
Tom Hardy and
Noomi Rapace in the upcoming
Child 44 movie.
Confused anyone? I mean, it looks like Hardy and Rapace are on board for every single movie these days (check our
Animal Rescue report if you don't trust me.)
Anyway, let me first remind you that
Child 44 is project based on
Tom Rob Smith‘s novel which is set during the 1950s and centers on:
…a member of the Soviet military police who, while investigating a series of child murders, finds himself the target of his own government's suspicions.
Daniel Espinosa is set to direct the movie from a script written by
Richard Price.
Now, a few words about that cast: Hardy is set to play the above mentioned military police, Rapace will star as his chameleon-like wife (whatever that means) while Kinnaman comes on board to play Hardy's ambitious and murderous nemesis.
Worldview Entertainment should co-finance and executive produce the film with Summit Entertainment, and production on
Child 44 should start this summer.
