Consider this (just) as a pretty cool rumor at this moment, but according to the latest reports,
Christian Bale could play the male lead in
Todd Haynes‘ upcoming political drama
Act Of God. If everything works out, this would mark Bale's third time working with the director (he previously starred in Haynes' 2004 drama
Velvet Goldmine, and in 2007 Bob Dylan biopic
I'm Not There). Head inside to find more details…
So, at this moment we know that
Act Of God will revolve around an ordinary man from Kansas, named Ron Madariaga, who gains political clout across the nation after speaking out against his local government following a deadly tornado.
Or, as director Haynes already explained – the film will explore the great middle of this country and their sort of suspicions about government.
In an interview with
The Playlist, he also revealed:
There's interesting reasons why people feel the way they do outside of the coasts and outside of the clear liberal orthodoxy, and that interests me. It's been too effective, that allegiance, for too many years, and I'm curious about it. So we're kind of getting inside that process.
Well, we're kind of interested too, so you folks have nothing to worry about – with every new update we'll be back!
Stay tuned!

Ok,so…is he going to be God? If so, answer that one prayer…
Aren’t we waiting for like 6 of his other movies to come out?! Wtf
