Christopher Nolan – the filmmaker who uses his gritty realism in almost every Superhero movie these days because comic books are for children – maybe can inject some of it into the Bond franchise.
Additionally, Nolan is a huge James Bond fan, and has said in the past that he would be interested in doing a Bond film at some point.
On the other hand, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G .Wilson’s clock is ticking to get someone in the director’s chair as MGM wanted a new Bond movie within 3 years (Sam Mendes passed on the gig).
To get to the point Daily Mail is reporting that director has been approached to direct Bond 24 and that there have been informal talks between Nolan and Bond producers.
However, he’s currently working on Interstellar, which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 7th, 2014. Bearing this in mind, Collider believes if there have been any informal talks, they would be for James Bond 25 because pre-production on Interstellar is underway which means the new Bond film probably wouldn’t be ready until 2016.
However, there is no word yet on a targeted release date for Bond 24 so stay tuned. Daniel Craig returns to the role of 007, it is the only moment that matters.
