This is definitely one hell of the news!
David Arnold, man who's responsible for the soundtracks of the past five 007 film wants
Queen to record the next film's theme tune. See, I told you so, the news is awesome, even though Arnold agrees Queen's music would have been better suited to some of the earlier movies in the franchise.
In an interview with
Daily Star newspaper composer revealed that he's a massive Queen fan and that he would love them to do a theme tune. He also said: “Imagine how ridiculously bombastic a Queen anthem could be. It's a shame because they would have been perfect for Roger Moore's Bond during the 80s when he was punching clowns.”
But, what's also interesting about this is that
Lady Gaga is somehow involved in the whole thing. Which actually means – if Queen comes on board, Gaga will come on board as well to sing it for them. That's exactly what guitarist Brian May recently revealed by saying: We still hope to do something with GaGa in the future. We've been close to doing something for TV before – she is an inspiration.”
Cool, can we hear
Bad Romance Must Go On, now?
Pfft, The Daily Star is a rag. Stop spreading these bullcrap rumours!
MUSE FOR SKYFALL by the way.
Don’t be a drag,
just be a queen! :-)
MUSE should and WILL do the theme song!!!!
