Brady Corbet Joins Benicio Del Toro In PARADISE LOST
If you are among the people fascinated by this controversial gangster – his extravagant lifestyle – the ingenuity and severity of his crimes – and who in 1987 was the 7th richest man in the world, then you're glad to hear Pablo Escobar drama Paradise Lost will soon be shot.
Additionally, Brady Corbet, who stars in the upcoming Simon Killer has signed on to star opposite Josh Hutcherson and Benicio Del Toro in the new feature about a famous Colombian drug lord, who was shot dead on December 2nd, 1993 and his final resting place is at a cemetery on the outskirts of Medellín.
The film marks the directorial debut of Life of Pi thesp Andrea di Stefano and filming's meant to begin in Panama before the end of the week.
Hutcherson plays the lead in Paradise Lost, a young surfer who visits his older brother (Corbet) in Colombia, falls for a local girl and then meets her uncle Pablo; Benicio Del Toro plays the infamous drug cartel kingpin Escobar.
As for Corbet, Antonio Campos' Simon Killer opens in limited release on April 5th, 2013.
