The trilogy, titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle,” promises to deliver an extraordinary finale to the series. Though exact release dates remain under wraps, the anticipation among fans is palpable. This three-part cinematic journey will encapsulate the final arc of the award-winning anime, bringing the story of Tanjiro Kamado and his comrades to a dramatic close.
Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Demon Slayer has been a phenomenal franchise, and we at Crunchyroll are delighted to have been a part of it from the beginning. Crunchyroll is thrilled to bring this trilogy of films to fans on the big screen. It promises to be one of the truly epic and consequential pop cultural events of our time.”

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge, has captivated millions worldwide since its debut in 2018. The manga, published under SHUEISHA's JUMP COMICS, consists of 23 volumes and has over 150 million copies in publication. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family and restore his demon-turned sister, Nezuko, back to human form.
The anime first premiered in April 2019 and was followed by the record-breaking feature film “Mugen Train” in October 2020. Subsequent arcs, including the “Mugen Train Arc” and the “Entertainment District Arc,” further solidified the franchise's global popularity. The most recent arcs, including the “Swordsmith Village Arc” and “Hashira Training Arc,” have also enjoyed commercial and critical success.

“Mugen Train,” the highest-grossing anime movie of all time, has amassed over $500 million worldwide and holds a 98% critic score and a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. As fans eagerly await the Infinity Castle trilogy, the series continues to stream on Crunchyroll, allowing new audiences to experience the magic of “Demon Slayer.”
The upcoming trilogy marks the culmination of a journey that began six years ago, promising an unforgettable end to one of the most beloved anime series in recent history.
