Sheriff Owens is angry! We have the final poster for the upcoming action thriller
The Last Stand, and as you already see –
Arnold Schwarzenegger definitely rocks! And
Johnny Knoxville thinks that's funny, or something like that. Anyway, the movie, directed by
Kim Jee-Woon, opens in two months, so in case you've missed our previous reports, make sure you check out the plot and take a better look at the poster in the rest of this report.
Written by
Andrew Knauer and
Jeffrey Nachmanoff, the movie centers on Schwarzenegger's character – sheriff Ray Owens, a retired LAPD officer turned border town sheriff. And he will have to deal with some dangerous criminals this time, check it out:
After a spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy, the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the hemisphere is hurtling toward the border at 200 mph in a specially outfitted car with a hostage and a fierce army of gang members. He is headed, it turns out, straight for Summerton Junction, where the whole of the U.S. law enforcement will have their last opportunity to make a stand and intercept him before he slips across the border forever. At first reluctant to become involved, and then counted out because of the perceived ineptitude of his small town force, Owens ultimately accepts responsibility for one of the most daring face offs in cinema history.
Beside Schwarzenegger,
The Last Stand also stars
Zach Gilford,
Forest Whitaker,
Luis Guzman,
Rodrigo Santoro,
Johnny Knoxville,
Jaimie Alexander,
Eduardo Noriega,
Peter Stormare,
Harry Dean Stanton and
Genesis Rodriguez, and the movie is set to open on January 18th, 2013.
