It's official –
Drew Barrymore will join
Adam Sandler in an upcoming (and still untitled) comedy which comes from director
Frank Coraci! And although (almost) everything about this project is still a mystery, the above mentioned duo was pretty good in
The Wedding Singer, so I guess we have nothing to worry about (right?)
So, at this moment we know that Coraci will direct the movie from an original script written by
Ivan Menchell and
Clare Sera. The comedy will reportedly center on a couple – Jim and Lauren – who, after disastrous blind date, are stuck together in a family resort with their children from previous marriages.
So we have Sandler as Jim, Barrymore as Lauren, and that's bascially all we know about the whole thing.
Anyway, let us also add that Happy Madison will produce along with Mike Karz and Josie Rosen is exec producing for Karz and Gulfstream Pictures.
According to
Variety, production is set to start in May, so I guess we'll soon have more updates to share.
Make sure you stay tuned!
