Marvel fans, brace yourselves! Marvel's head of television, Brad Winderbaum, recently dropped some exciting hints about the highly anticipated animated series “Eyes of Wakanda” during the official Marvel podcast. This “Black Panther” spin-off, produced by the talented Ryan Coogler and directed by seasoned storyboard artist Todd Harris, is set to delve deep into Wakandan history while seamlessly tying into the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Winderbaum couldn't contain his enthusiasm, stating, “The action is insane and the storytelling is fantastic. It's both about the history of Wakanda, but also expands into the greater MCU at different time periods. If you're a fan of the movies, I think this show is going to be a real treat.” Such high praise from a key Marvel figure has undoubtedly piqued the interest of fans worldwide.

In an exciting development, The Cosmic Circus (via CBM) has reported that Axis Studios, known for their work on “Love, Death & Robots” and “Destiny 2,” is involved in the series. This collaboration suggests that “Eyes of Wakanda” will be fully CG animated, described as “very fast-paced, fluid, exhilarating, and very exciting.”

Moreover, there are intriguing rumors that the series will feature Greek Gods, an Iron Fist, and introduce The Horde—giant galactic locusts infamous for invading and consuming planets. While these elements are commonly associated with the Eternals in the comics, their potential inclusion in “Eyes of Wakanda” could significantly expand the series' narrative scope.

Despite these exciting leaks, it's important to note that none of this information has been officially confirmed, so fans should take it with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, the prospect of exploring Wakanda's rich history, intertwined with new and familiar MCU elements, makes “Eyes of Wakanda” a series to watch out for.

Marvel's foray into the animated world with “Eyes of Wakanda” promises to be a spectacular addition to the MCU. Whether you're a die-hard Marvel fan or new to the universe, this series is set to deliver a blend of action, history, and expansive storytelling that's bound to captivate audiences. Keep an eye out for more updates as this thrilling journey into Wakanda unfolds!
