Hi there, we've got a possible casting update for Captain America sequel, currently subtitled The Winter Soldier, set to begin later this year.
With Antony Mackie lined up to play Sam Wilson, aka Falcon the attention has moved on to recruiting the female lead. According to The New York Post there are three actresses in the running for the role: Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air), Felicity Jones (Like Crazy) and Imogen Poots (Fright Night).
Up to now Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan and it will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
