Final MONSTERS UNIVERSITY Trailer

Monsters University-Final Trailer It’s finally here, the final trailer for the Monsters, Inc. prequel, Monsters University, before all the TV spots start being released. All jokes aside, it delivers all the humor, antics, and fun-filled adventure you’ve come to expect from team Disney/Pixar who are a little worried about the film’s prospects after the 3D re-release of Monsters, Inc. didn’t exactly kill it at the box office. However, following the exploits of young Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. Sullivan (John Goodman), pic doesn’t look like it’ll be a fun time regardless. The prequel also features the voices of Steve Buscemi, Helen Mirren, John Krasinski, Nathan Fillion, Bonnie Hunt, Dave Foley, Sean Hayes, Joel Murray, Peter Sohn, Aubrey Plaza, Tyler Labine, Bobby Moynihan, Julie Sweeney, Alfred Molina, Beth Behrs, and John Ratzenberger, respectively. Directed by Dan Scanlon, Monsters University opens on June 21st, 2013. Hit the jump to check out today’s trailer which adds a bit of ‘Legally Blonde misfit-striving-for-inspirational-glory into the mix’. Here’s the official synopsis:
Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.
