A few days ago we shared the first official image of Halle Berry, who plays an emergency operator named Jordan in Brad Anderson‘s upcoming action thriller The Call (formerly known as The Hive). Today, we finally have the first trailer for the whole thing, (just for a record – it looks like a pretty cool & intense story), so make sure you check it out in the rest of this report!
So, what if you heard the sound of an intruder? And, what if you heard the cries of a victim? Already sounds spooky, right? Well, basically – that’s exatcly what this movie is about…
Written by Rich D’Ovidio, this suspense thriller follows Halle Berry as Jordan, Emergency Call Center Operator who takes a call from a teenage girl named Casey.
Casey, played by Abigail Breslin, has been abducted and carried away in the trunk of a car. The kidnapping plays out in real time as Jordan and Casey work together to track down the killer.
In other words, Jordan will have to confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.
The rest of The Call cast includes Morris Chestnut, Michael Eklund and Michael Imperioli, and the movie is already set to open on March 15th, 2013.
