First Ang Lee’s LIFE OF PI Image

Life of Pi Well, this looks amazing. We finally have the first image from Ang Lee‘s upcoming 3D adaptation of the novel Life of Pi, and I'm sure you're going to agree with me – because amazing is the real word. This time, we have a first look at a newcomer Suraj Sharma and Bengal tiger named Richard Parker and I guess that a hyena, a zebra, and an orangutan from the description of this movie will come later… So, as you already know, Life of Pi is an adaptation of Yann Martel‘s book which follows a boy named Pi, the son of a zookeeper who has an encyclopedic knowledge of animal behavior and a fervent love of stories. When Pi is sixteen, his family emigrates from India to North America aboard a Japanese cargo ship, along with their zoo animals bound for new homes. Pi soon finds himself alone in a lifeboat, his only companions a hyena, an orangutan, a wounded zebra, and Richard Parker, a 450-pound Bengal tiger… Life of Pi also stars Tobey Maguire, Irrfan Khan, Adil Hussain and Gerard Depardieu, and Ang Lee's movie is set to open on November 21st, 2012.
