
Here's the very first teaser for yet another entry into the Beat Generation era,
Kill Your Darlings, starring
Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg,
Jack Huston as Jack Kerouac,
Dane DeHaan as Lucien Carr and
Ben Foster as William Burroughs.
After premiering in Sundance earlier this year,
John Krokidas‘ beat poet period drama will be playing both the
Toronto Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival's independent Venice Days section.
The short preview offers a mature performance from Radcliffe who teams up with one of Hollywood's most promising young actors, DeHaan in Krokidas' feature directing debut.
The screenplay was co-written by Krokidas, a Yale and NYU film school graduate and Austin Bunn.
The film also stars
Elizabeth Olsen as Edie Parker,
Michael C. Hall as David Kammerer,
Jennifer Jason Leigh as Naomi Ginsberg and
Kyra Sedgwick as Marian Carr.

Kill Your Darlings has already set a October 18th, 2013 limited release.

Synopsis:
In this dynamic portrait of the early days of the Beat Generation, a young Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) and William S. Burroughs (Ben Foster) become embroiled in the notorious 1944 murder of Burroughs' childhood friend David Kammerer by the object of his affection, the Rimbaudian Beat muse Lucien Carr.
