We already wrote so much about this movie, but today we have something to share with you!
So here's a little preview of
Paul Thomas Anderson‘s
The Master movie, which is set to open this October.
The movie has great cast on board, but as you'll see, this teaser video is mostly about
Joaquin Phoenix who stars as a drifter who becomes the right-hand man to
Philip Seymour Hoffman's character.
The rest of the cast includes
Amy Adams, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons and
David Warshovsky, but as we previously mentioned, The Master follows a charismatic intellectual, played by Hoffman, who launches a religious organization following World War II.
Phoenix plays Freddie Quell, a drifter who becomes his right-hand man, but as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, he finds himself questioning the belief system and his mentor.
Say what you want, but this definitely looks like a perfect role for Phoenix, and I guess the
retirement-thing is not his option anymore.
After seeing this 2-minute clip I'm totally interested in this movie, although it's not one of my favorite stories in the world.
Let us know what you think, and don't forget, The Master is set to open on September 14th, 2012.
