First Poster For Monty Python Comedy ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING

Monty Python-Absolutely Anything The surviving members of Monty Python: John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones have been working a brand new feature titled Absolutely Anything starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Jones wrote a script and he is lined up to direct it. The film would also star Robin Williams as the voice of a talking dog, while the cast reportedly includes Gemma Arterton in a key role. The script is revolving around unlucky  schoolteacher (Cumberbatch) suddenly given God-like powers by a council of odd aliens so that they can be amused as he cocks it up. The ex-Pythons are voicing key roles as a group of aliens. A talking dog named Dennis, meanwhile, seems to understand more about the mayhem that ensues than anyone else does. Jones wrote in the pitch:
It's a funny script so I guess the idea is to make it into a funny film. It has a laugh rate comparable to Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Life of Brian so it is my sacred duty to make it funny on film!
Absolutely Anything was expected to start shooting in the United Kingdom this summer on a budget of between $15 to $20 million, but we're not sure of any set release plans yet. Check out the first piece of poster art for the new sci-fi comedy if nothing else. Absolutely Anything-First Poster
