The first TV spot for the upcoming Parker movie has arrived, and I definitely recommend you to check out Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham who both star in this crime thriller. After all, this is a perfect chance to finally see what it’s like to play dirty but still get away clean. Or something like that…
Taylor Hackford directs the movie from a script written by John J. McLaughlin which is based on the series of bestselling novels by Donald E. Westlake.

The movie centers on a professional thief who lives by quite interesting personal code of ethics: don’t steal from people who can’t afford it and don’t hurt people who don’t deserve it.
But on his latest heist, his crew double crosses him, steals his stash, and leaves him for dead. Determined to make sure they regret it, he tracks them to PalmBeach, playground of the rich and famous, where the crew is planning their biggest heist ever. Donning the disguise of a rich Texan, our hero takes on an unlikely partner, Leslie (Lopez), a savvy insider, who’s short on cash, but big on looks, smarts and ambition. Together, they devise a plan to hijack the score, take everyone down and get away clean.
Beside Statham and Lopez, Parker cast also includes Michael Chiklis, Wendell Pierce and Nick Nolte, and as we previously reported, the movie is set to open on January 25th, 2013.
