GANGSTER SQUAD Banner Poster

Gangster Squad So, this September we will all watch Ruben Fleischer‘s 1940s-crime movie titled Gangster Squad. Why? Well, because we have some great gangsters on board for the whole thing, and, on the other hand – the story is pretty cool as well. That should be enough, right? Ok, ok, if it's not enough, then check out the rest of this report where you'll find the completely new banner for the movie! I already have this on my desktop. And no, it's not just because Ryan Gosling looks awesome in that suit! This time we also have a better look at Josh Brolin, Sean Penn and gorgeous Emma Stone who looks like that lady in red. From that song, you know… Anyway, the rest of the cast includes Nick Nolte, Michael Pena, Anthony Mackie and Giovanni Ribisi, and the movie follows Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen, played by Sean Penn, who runs the show in this town (you know, usual things like drugs, guns, prostitutes and stuff). He also has the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. But, Mickey will still have to deal with the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Gosling), who team up in order to tear Cohen's world apart. And I guess that's why they already describe this movie as a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD's efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time. Gangster Squad opens on January 11th, 2013. Let us know what you think about the movie so far and stay tuned! Gangster Squad
