Here’s the first and pretty intense TV spot for the upcoming Getaway movie, which opens this month. Yep, the one that stars Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez, and revolves around a man who must follow the orders of a mysterious man to save his kidnapped wife. Written by Sean Finegan and Gregg Maxwell Parker, and directed by Courtney Solomon, this action thriller also stars Jon Voight, Rebecca Budig and Bruce Payne, and is set to hit theaters on August 30th, 2013.
Described as the gritty, heart-pounding action story, the movie centers on:
…a former race car driver Brent Magna who is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.
