Comic Con a teaser trailer played to audiences for Monsters director

Godzilla.
The footage was supposed to be open to the public, but became hidden somehow.
Meanwhile, the long-anticipated film has actually not begun filming, but two images have made it's way online and feature some of the destruction that we can expect in the movie, along with a glimpse of the giant monster.
The movie is reportedly deep in pre-production and director Gareth Edwards who has been hard at work ‘mapping out his vision for the movie' will start shooting the movie in March of next year with aim for a May 16th, 2014 release.

Dan Lin recently pointed out how this will be a ‘grounded, realistic version' that ponders ‘what would happen if Godzilla came into our world today.'
