Gregg Henry, who worked with director James Gunn on both 2006's Slither and 2010's Super is on his way to the U.K. which is where the superhero movie Guardians of the Galaxy is currently filming.
The prolific thesp hit Twitter to announce his sweet new gig (below), although he didn't reveal which remaining character he will play.
Gunn‘s biggest movie ever by far, upcoming Marvel Studios blockbuster features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions. One of the main characters still yet to be cast is Rocket Raccoon, despite the film has wrapped up its production in July.
The film stars another Gunn-regular Michael Rooker. He's playing Yondu in the film, an alien hunter/hero as well as Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (AKA Star Lord), a wise-cracking human pilot who gets tangled up with a group of renegades and mercenaries who eventually bond together as a mismatched superhero team.
Other cast members already hard at work include Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as the voice of plant warrior Groot, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Benicio del Toro as The Collector, John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and Peter Serafinowicz in another mysterious role.
