This past summer, director Todd Phillips (The Hangover) confirmed that The Hangover 2 will indeed take place in Thailand and LA.
According to Empire Magazine and LatinoReview, production on the follow-up will start this fall in Thailand as the three key characters Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) travel to Asia and find themselves in an even more outrageous trouble.
“It takes place in Bangkok and LA, there's gonna be some f**ked-up surprises.”There's a lot of pressure for the team. We all are expecting so much considering the first movie was hilarious… and Todd knows it.
“I'm not delusional,” he said. “I know what I'm up against. I saw Meet The Fockers. But we're aiming high. It's called The Hangover Part Two, you know.”Warner Bros has an announced release date of May 26, 2011 for The Hangover 2. Todd Phillips' next film Due Date hits theaters November 5th, 2010.
