Horrible Bosses Writers Sell Their PUNCHING OUT Comedy To CBS

Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley

Here’s one good news for all Horrible Bosses fans out there – we’ve just learned that John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (the duo behind 2011 comedy) will be in charge for a brand new CBS’ pilot titled Punching Out. Apparently, this upcoming half-hour project is in the vein of the above mentioned R-rated comedy, so just in case you hate your job – here’s the perfect comedy for you!

Basically, the only thing we know about Punching Out at this moment is that the single-camera comedy will revolve around on 30-something guys who hate their jobs and make a pact to go back to when they were happiest: working at the mall.

That definitely sounds like “Bosses”, except – there’s no murder? I have no idea, guess we’ll just have to wait for more details.

Let us also add that Daley and Goldstein are on board to executive-produce the whole thing along with Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope, and that the project is set up at 20th Century Fox TV.

Hope we’ll soon have more updates to share, make sure you stay tuned!
