20th Century Fox has unveiled the first TV spot, promo clip and three TV ads for Ice Age: Continental Drift, arriving in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters nationwide July 13th, 2012.
The animated sequel sees Manny, Diego and Sid embark on their latest adventure after a cataclysm sets their continent adrift. Marooned on an iceberg for a ship, they face off against pirates and sea monsters as they explore a new world.
Ice Age: Continental Drift, directed by Steve Martino, stars the voice talents of Ray Romano, Karen Disher, Queen Latifah, John Leguizamo, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Wedge, Denis Leary, Wanda Sykes, Josh Peck and Ciara Bravo.
Synopsis
Scrat’s nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he’s been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences – a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.
