International TRISHNA Trailer and Quad Poster
A new international trailer and quad poster have been released for the upcoming Michael Winterbottom’s latest film Trishna.
Freida Pinto and British actor Riz Ahmed star in an India-set update/reinvention of Thomas Hardy’s 1891 novel Tess of the d’Urbervilles which centers around a young woman who gets seduced by the wealthy son of a property developer. As the romance develops, their relationship also becomes increasingly sordid and volatile.
The film is written and directed by British auteur Michael Winterbottom, of numerous indie films, including Butterfly Kiss, Wonderland, Code 46, The Road to Guantanamo, A Mighty Heart, The Shock Doctrine, The Killer Inside Me and The Trip.
Trishna is scheduled to light up theaters July 13th, 2012.
