January Jones and Ed Harris Sign on for Revenge Drama SWEETWATER
Logan and Noah Miller, who last co-wrote and directed the family drama Touching Home have locked down two fairly high-profile stars in four-time Oscar nominee, Ed Harris and January Jones (X-Men: First Class) to secure their sophomore effort, the revenge Western drama Sweetwater.
The film, set in the mid-nineteenth century New Mexico territory, will center on a young widow, to be played by Jones, who joins forces with the local sheriff played by Harris, seeks to avenge her husband's murder and take down the brutal sheep rancher that killed her husband.
Production kicks off this July in New Mexico, with a 2013 release date that seems likely.
Hollywood vet Harris, who received Academy Award nominations for The Hours, Pollock, The Truman Show, and Apollo 13 has previously worked with directors Logan and Noah Miller on Touching Home.
He will next appear alongside Annette Bening, Amy Brennerman and Robin Williams in the romantic comedy drama Look of Love and probably in Michael Bay's Pain and Gain.
As for Jones, she last showed up alongside Nicolas Cage in the feature film Seeking Justice.
