The award winning star of
No Country For Old Men,
Javier Bardem himself, is allegedly being offered a starring performance in the new
James Bond 23 film.
Character details are still unknown at this time. However, the first thing that comes up in your mind is that the starring role opposite legendary agent is the villain, and Bardem played a horribly wicked villain in his Oscar-winning turn two years ago.
Just a few days later and here we go again in the world of 007. It should come as no surprise to Ms
Judi Dench has approved that she will repeat her role as
M in the 23rd James Bond movie at South Bank Sky Arts Awards in London. Sensational news seems to have become that Javier Bardem was seen the main opponents of Mr Bond. Deadline reported that it was presented by main producers last week at time Bardem received his Best Actor nomination for
Biutiful.
Yet another new from Deadline reveals production issues
The quick cash flow allows MGM to have revenue which it hasn't had in a long time. Thereby their books look better, and therefore the possibility of getting more funds for production is increased. So expect whichever studio lands Bond to also announce it is several co-financing deals allowing MGM into other pics that are already shooting.
The history of production problems had been in pre-production and it took almost a year for MGM's future to make it tidy from the failed auction, then the bankruptcy getting approval, and deal with Spyglass studio. After all,
Daniel Craig will be come back as the brilliant MI6 agent, with
Sam Mendes directing. A screenplay is written by
Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and
John Logan.
What should bear in mind is that Javier Bardem is well known being devoted first offerings. James Bond 23 is still on the same schedule for release on November 9th, 2012.
