So, it goes like this – John Travolta and Junior Gotti went out for dinner in Los Angeles, and now we have this rumor!
Apparently, Travolta has received the family's blessing to play John Gotti in a movie about the notorious mafia boss that we already wrote about.
But, don't blame it on Travolta! A man's got to eat!
According to Marc Fiore, the CEO of Fiore Films, LLC – the Pulp Fiction star is in serious talks to play John Gotti.
In an iterview with EW, Fiore revealed that: “We would love to have him. He's a terrific actor. John Gotti, Sr. – he's an icon. And so is Travolta … The Gottis have an image already.
People know who they are. You can't just be a good actor, you have to be a great actor who can become John Gotti.”
On the other hand, Gotti added: “He's a tremendous actor and he'll feel the part.”
Now, let's get back to that dinner thing again.
The actor and the son of legendary mafia boss John Gotti were joined by screenwriter and filmmaker John Cassavetes and film producer Marc Fiore as they talked about John's much-speculated role to play the Teflon Don in a biopic.
And, that's not all, James Franco seems to be in talks to do the film playing the role of Junior Gotti who authorities believe took over as the head of the family during his father's incarceration.
Fiore hopes to begin production this summer. We'll definitely keep an eye on this project, and in a meanwhile, let us know what you think about this choice!
