Josh Gad is now attached to star in the upcoming Jobs biopic.
As you already know, we’re talking about the Steve Jobs biopic which already has Ashton Kutcher on board in the leading role.
Gad, on the other hand, jumps in to play the role of Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak.
We previously reported that Jobs will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern from a screenplay written by Matt Whiteley.
The movie will begin with Jobs’ early days as a hippie following his path to becoming one of the world’s most respected tech pioneers and businessmen.
Gad will definitely have an opportunity to show his best by playing Wozniak, man who founded Apple with Jobs and designed the operating systems for its early computers.
They worked together very closely, but Jobs eventually pushed Woz away, while the engineer grew frustrated with Jobs’ increasingly single-minded behavior.
The movie has a budget of $5 million and will begin shooting this May in Texas.
