Hope you’re not too disappointed with the news? As you already see from our title, the fourth entry in the Jurassic Park film series – Jurassic Park IV is now set to hit theaters (sometime) in 2015. So, we all know that director Colin Trevorrow is now in charge for the whole thing, we also know that Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver will write the script, but unfortunately… everything else is (still) a mystery.
Except that the movie now has a new logo, and that it will be shot in 3D! Yep, that’s the “big” news for today! Nothing to be surprised about, especially after Trevorrow previously tweeted:
Jurassic Park 4 is still very much alive and we will receive more news regarding the film soon. We’re in the process of writing and designing.
In case you forgot, Jurassic Park 4 was originally scheduled to be released on June 13, 2014, but it has re-entered development with no specific release date.
Anyway, the most important thing is that Trevorrow and his team are (obviously) quite serious about the whole thing, and although neither a plot synopsis nor any cast members have yet been confirmed, we definitely hope that something good is coming around a corner.
At the end of this report – straight from the 2013 Licensing Expo comes this new banner for Jurassic Park 4 (via Comingsoon).
