LES GROSSMAN Movie Updates

Fiona February 22, 2012 1 comment
Les Grossman In case you were worried about Tom Cruise‘s future projects and especially his Tropic Thunder character, we're here to calm you down. Les Grossman will be back, and Cruise will reprise his role in a spin-off movie. That's exactly what screenwriter Michael Bacall revealed in an interview with Collider and as usual, he added some quite interesting details about the whole thing. So, Bacall revealed that Paramount has the draft, and added: “I gather that they're pretty happy with it. I think Tom Cruise probably has a lot of stuff on his plate right now and I think it'll be a schedule thing more than anything.” As we already guessed, the movie will be R-rated and here's why: “I wrote it for R because we had precedent with Tropic Thunder. It's actually a pretty heartfelt story. I had a lot of meetings with Mr. Cruise and Mr. Stiller and it was crazy, it was a blast. I think we came up with some really fun stuff to give you an insight into who the guy is, so I'm hopeful that that'll get up and running soon.” Guess now we'll have to wait for Cruise to finish his work on One Shot, which is currently filming, and then he'll be busy with Doug Liman's All You Need Is Kill where he's also attached to star. Which leads us to Less Grossman movie sometime in…2014? We'll keep an eye on it!
