For horror fans, October is always an exciting month filled with spooky films and terrifying new releases. One standout is Little Bites, a fresh indie horror film directed by Spider One, also known as Michael David Cummings. The official trailer has just dropped, offering a chilling glimpse into a mother's desperate battle to protect her child from a flesh-eating monster. With its dark, atmospheric tone, Little Bites is already shaping up to be a unique addition to this year's horror lineup.
Set to premiere at the 2024 Fantastic Fest and Sitges Film Festivals, Little Bites tells the harrowing story of Mindy (played by Krsy Fox), a widowed mother who strikes a macabre deal to protect her daughter Alice. Hidden away at her grandmother's home, Alice is kept safe from a grotesque creature named Agyar. Mindy, however, sacrifices her own body, allowing Agyar to slowly feed on her flesh in exchange for her daughter's safety. The trailer reveals unsettling body horror sequences, highlighting themes of self-sacrifice, maternal love, and the unimaginable limits a mother will go to in order to protect her child.
