Mackenzie Davis, Nicholas Braun In Talks For KITCHEN SINK
Mackenzie Davis and Nicholas Braun are in talks to star in Sony's upcoming horror comedy The Kitchen Sink, director Robbie Pickering‘s follow-up to his well-received Natural Selection.
Among the names listed in The Kitchen Sink, which is written by Oren Uziel are also three young actors Josh Fadem, Flash Thompson and Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider-Man).
Based on the 2010 Black List script, the film is about a pair of teens (Davis, Braun) who form an unlikely alliance with vampires and zombies in order to take on an alien army.
Jonah Hill was originally looking to star in the movie back in 2011. A monster mash-up movie in the vein of Zombieland is expected to shoot in the summer.
Davis is currently at Sundance promoting her turn as Guy Pearce and Amy Ryan's daughter in Drake Doremus' Breathe In. She has recently appeared in the rom-com The F Word and is currently filming Are We Officially Dating?
Braun, who starred in Kevin Smith's Red State, gained attention for his role as Ponytail Derek in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He'll next be seen in CBS Films' comedy Get a Job.
