Marisa Tomei and Hugh Grant in New Rom Com

Fiona November 27, 2012 Add a Comment
Marisa Tomei Another romantic comedy is coming, and just in case you thought that Hugh Grant will have nothing to do with it – you were completely wrong! Because Grant is apparently set to star in yet untitled rom-com which comes from writer/director Marc Lawrence. But what definitely sounds good is that our dear Grant will have quite interesting company, because Marisa Tomei is also attached to play the female lead in the whole thing! So, at this moment we know that Grant will star as character named Ray Michaels, described as a witty, sexy, Englishman who, in 1988, is on top of the world in Hollywood, having just won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay. Then, fifteen years later, Michaels is creatively washed up, divorced, and broke. With no other options, he takes a job teaching screenwriting at a small college on the East Coast. What he doesn't expect to find is romance with a single mom who's gone back to school. We guess that single mom is Tomei. It sounds logical. At the end of this report, let us also add that Castle Rock is producing Untitled Marc Lawrence Project. Anyway, the good thing is that this movie should start shooting next spring in New York, which means – we'll soon have more updates to share with you.
