Matthew McConaughey as Magnum?

Matthew McConaughey was offered the role of Thomas Magnum in Universal Pictures' adaptation of Magnum P.I., based on the successful '80s television show, played so memorably by Tom Selleck.

Matthew is currently reading the script from writer/director Rawson Thurber and he will reportedly decide soon if he wants to follow in Tom's mustachioed footsteps. Now the burning questions: Will he grow a mustache for the role? And what about these chest?
