Another cross-genre film is coming, and this time from writer/director John Shackleton. Entitled Monster Project, the pic revolves around a group of teenagers who become… monsters! Sounds promising? Well, (let’s be honest) not exactly, but the first poster looks pretty cool, so we’ll give them a try…
So, here’s the thing: we have a group of six teenagers who undergo a harrowing transformation into monsters, imbued with various abilities and ailments, and are then forced to go on the run, fighting for their survival.
Poor little creatures!
Director Shackleton hopes that this film will have a little something for everyone, and adds:
Lurking beneath a hugely fantastical movie premise, anchored in reality, is a universal story surrounding a group of alienated teenagers.
