To get away clean – you have to play dirty. Remember that one? I’m sure you do! It looks that Taylor Hackford‘s upcoming crime-thriller Parker is not that bad after all, hm? As the matter of fact, Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez look like a lovely couple. And that’s exactly what you’re going to see today, because we have some new photos from the whole thing, some of these images are almost a Vogue-worthy!
But hey, this is not a romantic comedy! No way! And of course, it’s not all about Statham/Lopez! Parker also stars Nick Nolte, Michael Chiklis and Wendell Pierce, and is already set to open on January 25th, 2013.
The movie is written by John J. McLaughlin, but the whole thing is actually based on the series of bestselling novels written by Donald E. Westlake.
Statham plays a professional thief named Parker, man who lives by a personal code of ethics: don’t steal from people who can’t afford it and don’t hurt people who don’t deserve it. But on his latest heist, his crew double crosses him, steals his stash, and leaves him for dead.
Anyone smells revenge? Hell, yeah! That’s where Lopez aka Leslie jumps in as a savvy insider, who’s short on cash, but big on looks, smarts and ambition.
And together, they devise a plan to hijack the score, take everyone down and get away clean.
