Here's episode 1 and 2 of the highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame).
Tancharoen landed the job because of Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, a short film of his that made its way online and garnered a tremendous amount of attention, essentially reviving interest in a live-action Mortal Kombat after its death with the 1997 film, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.'
This anthology of 9 live action shorts starring Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager) as Sonya Blade, Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight) as Major Jackson ‘Jax' Briggs, Kevan Ohtsji as Sub-Zero, and Darren Shahlavi (300) as Kano and brings to life the motivation behind each character's participation in the Mortal Kombat tournament.
Based on the release times of the first two episodes, the third episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy should hit early next Tuesday morning.
