So, as you already know, this action-adventure comes from director Zack Snyder, while the script was written by David S. Goyer and the whole thing is based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster published by DC Comics.
Henry Cavill plays Superman, while the rest of the cast also includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha and Jonathan Kent, Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod, Antje Traue as Zod’s evil partner Faora, Ayelet Zurer as Superman’s mother Lara Lor-Van, Russell Crowe as his father Jor-El, Harry Lennix as U.S. military man General Swanwick, and Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy.
