20th Century Fox and producer Robert Rodriguez have revealed another preview to Predators by debuting a new featurette which centers on Adrien Brody‘s character Royce.
Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
Directed by Nimrod Antal, the film also stars Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Lawrence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Oleg Taktarov, Louis Ozawa Changchien and Danny Trejo.
Predators will hit theaters July 7, 2010.
It’s refreshing to see a movie like this, that sort of turns reality, that puts characters in the exactly opposite role they’re having in their actual life. It’s interesting to see how they cope with the new situation and how their feelings and actions develope. Not to mention that its genre is Sci Fi, one that has always appealed to me. It’s like fairytales for grown-ups.
