James Wan‘s new scary movie The Conjuring gets a new trailer. Wan's latest film premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival recently and picked up strong reviews.
The upcoming supernatural thriller is reportedly a skilled reworking of the old-fashioned horror genre with its minimal use of digital effects.
The film stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as world renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren who were called to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
The Conjuring co-stars Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver and Sterling Jerins and is set to hit theaters on July 19th, 2013.
Director Wan is Universal's choice to helm next summer's Fast & Furious 7, but ahead of that, he has two new horror movies in theaters this year – later this year, we get Insidious: Chapter 2.
