Hate Crime! Check this out: it’s the
Most Horrifying film of Pollygrind Film Festival, won
Best Picture &
Best Director at Underground Monster Carnival as well as
Audience Award at Killer Film Festival Online and – believe it or not – it still has
no distribution! Reason? Too controversial, almost banned in the UK, and so on…

All that because the movie centers on a family who arrives in a new neighbourhood: they are recording their youngest son’s birthday celebrations on video and then… well, then comes that
controversial part of the story – their home is invaded by a bunch of crystal-meth-crazed neo-nazi lunatics…

And now we have to be quiet about that, ’cause apparently – it’s not something we should watch. Or talk about.

Despite its name, Hate Crime is a labor of love from a dedicated group of people looking to make something different. Hate Crime is a violent, realistic portrayal of one of our worst nightmares, being attacked in our home.
I haven’t seen the movie (definitely interested, though) so I’ll stop defending
James Cullen Bressack and his team. I will just add a few more things:
